More than nuthin'

Often when people ask what I've been doing, I honestly can't think of a thing. I can't think of a single thing that I do besides hang out with Wrigley. Well, I actually have been pretty busy.

I've set a goal to read 50 books this year, and if I step up the pace a little over Ed's summer break, I'll definitely do it. I'm currently reading #17 & #18 right now. They're both parenting books, so I won't bother to mention them. Normally I read one non-fiction and one fiction at one time, but I have a bunch of nonfiction from the library that I've had for several months, so I thought I ought to try and get those back to them!

I'm doing a ton of dress dyeing. I am selling my dresses at Milagros in NE Portland. After I sold some to random people I know, I finally decided to just consign them there. I gave them 5 dresses and after several weeks they called to let me know 4 had sold. Good timing, because I was just about ready to bring in 13 new summer dresses. While I was there and the clerk was looking for my check, I noticed the 5th dress hanging on the wall. When she got off the phone I turned to point it out and mention that I was ready to take it since it was a winter dress, but it was GONE! Another person int the store bought it while I was there! Pretty cool! Anyway, in addition to selling there, I am going to part of a small craft show over the weekend. Here is what the summer dresses look like:

I also learned how to make little fairies. This was fun, and Wrigley likes it.

I also made myself a cool new bag. I'd show you a picture of it, but I recently, um, dropped my camera. Ouch. I should have it back from the shop soon. Until then, here are a couple of pictures from the batch I was trying to transfer to the computer when I dropped it.

We were required, by the way, to take pictures of each slug and snail Wrigley found. She found many more than you see pictured here!
