Did you know I've gone back to school? Tax school. I hope to go back to work a few hours a week a few months of the year. I am feeling smart again, though I have to read things about 10 times before I remember them. Crazy, but I like doing taxes. Always have. Now, if I could just get around having to pay them!

I think that an ear is such a great place to park a pencil. And now I have a reason to do so again!

1st Haircut- after it took a while to get this photo from the person who took it, and it took me forever to do anything with the disk she gave me. Wrigley was 2 1/2.


This was after her haircut last week.


And this was just so silly I had to share. They spent $2.19 to ship this to Ed. Wrigley used it for a while as part of her bug sciencing kit and now it just holds random collections of toys.

And last fall we scored a playhouse someone was giving away. We gave it a nice coat of paint and a real roof. It was heavy before and now it is REALLY heavy! Wrigley had a great time picking out the colors. More fun than we did picking ours!

Self Portrait Tuesday

I spend a lot of time at playgrounds. This one was up in north Portland and we went there because it has a tricycle race track. It was a little overgrown and it didn't have promised tunnel or bridge, but after her initial disappointment, Wrig enjoyed it just fine. This picture is underneath the slide.


They don't make many metal slides anymore, and it is always fun to find new ones because they are so high! After some initial apprehension Wrigley loved this one.

Ouch! I Think I Sprained My Ego

D: See Wrigley? See how I'm not picking the ladybug up with my fingers? I'm just putting my hand in front of her and she can choose to climb up if she wants to. (after several unsuccessful attempts to entice the ladybug into my hand, I say) Obviously, she doesn't want to be picked up.

W: Maybe she's just afraid of old people.
