I put it over on the left there as a recent read, but I just finished The Namesake. It was an extraordinarily satisfying read. I was a little sad to be done with the characters, but it came to a good conclusion without totally wrapping up each character's life so that they cease to exist past the story. With 50 pages left in the book I was still wondering where it was going, and it dealt with some interesting themes. I hope you pick it up and enjoy it as well.
